Data Deletion

How to delete your TomoTab account and what happens next.

Delete your account

To request deletion of your TomoTab account:

  1. Sign in to TomoTab.
  2. Open Account > Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion request.

If self-service deletion is unavailable, contact us at [email protected].

Who can use TomoTab

TomoTab is intended for adults and is not intended for individuals under 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher.

We also do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to TomoTab in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

What happens after deletion is requested

Deletion may not be immediate.

Once confirmed, your account and associated content are queued for deletion or removal from active service surfaces. Some information may be removed quickly, while other data may take additional time to clear from operational systems, caches, backups, or storage systems.

What we delete

Subject to the retention notes below, deletion may include:

  • your user account and profile
  • authentication links and social login ties
  • boards, personas, tablets, cards, and features you own
  • uploaded media and managed app-owned uploads associated with your account
  • public profile and public content owned by your account
  • associated private content owned by your account

What may be retained temporarily or longer

Some information may be retained for a limited period, or longer where required, for reasons such as:

  • fraud and abuse prevention
  • security monitoring and incident investigation
  • legal compliance
  • tax, accounting, and billing recordkeeping
  • dispute resolution
  • enforcement of our Terms and policies
  • backup and disaster recovery systems
  • limited integrity or tombstone records needed to preserve system consistency

Examples may include:

  • security and abuse logs retained for a limited period
  • billing and subscription records needed for accounting or compliance
  • limited operational records showing that an account or content previously existed and was removed
  • temporary backup copies that expire in the ordinary course of system retention

Uploaded files and storage

TomoTab may use queued deletion, pending-upload cleanup, lifecycle cleanup, and related storage-management processes.

This means:

  • committed account-owned uploads are queued for deletion as part of account removal
  • uncommitted pending uploads may expire automatically through storage cleanup rules
  • deletion timing for storage objects may vary depending on operational cleanup cycles and backup retention

Public content and followers

When your account is deleted:

  • your public profile and public content should no longer remain actively available through TomoTab in the ordinary course
  • follower relationships tied to your owned content may become unavailable, removed, or retained only as limited tombstone or integrity records where needed for system consistency

How long it takes

Deletion timing may vary depending on system state, storage cleanup timing, backups, fraud or security review needs, and legal retention requirements.

Where possible, account and content removal from active service surfaces should happen promptly, while full cleanup of related systems may take longer.
